Default A game of "skill"?

Not about skill when you fight a loser who has no life and would prefer to grief you out of a win by running.

knowing when to run is a skill just like knowing when to fight is. many skills are in the game to help against runners such as imagined burden, hamstring, pin down, etc. the list goes on and your team should incorporate a few chars with some of these to be effective.

I have a problem with people who don't run sometimes. If there is a ele getting pummled by mods in PvE or a Monk getting pummled by warriors OUTSIDE of a setup ward in PvP, people refusing to move out of firestorm, that's what I have a problem with about not running!

Ask them why they don't run? "1nly gay cowardz run!! Men stay and die!" -.-

Yeah, I've had atleast two 30 minute games in random areanas becuase of runners. I don't know why I just didn't leave..

So when you've used those anti-run skills on them they should be even easier to kill than normal players... as they have no intention of fighting.

I enjoy employing "Icey Prison" with my knockdown W/E.. Not enough monks have anti-hex these days It really helps with those "Oh hey, the warrior is after me.. I know! *Runs around in circles*

Cripple shot.. Axe Rake... Ward Against Foes or whatever... Alot of wter spells, there's a ton of Anti-runner skills.

Why bring anti-runner skills? It's better than playing a 30 minute game.

blah blah blah. Im not a newb or noob.I know already what you all said. I useally play monk for pvp. Such was this time.

My point, in case if anyone missed it is: That such approaches to playing pvp is downright like kicking someone in the nutsack.

Uh well you taunt them after you kill them, they're a mild annoyance, like mosquitos.

If they're a guild group make sure to tell them to disband their guild for sucking so much .

Perhaps you shouldn't come in with a random post condemning all runners, and implying with your topic title that because of this runner the game is no longer a game of skill...

just maybe...

No implication of that intended. I certainly am not condemning all runners, just ones with the intention of spending hours on end (i logged off after seeing the intent of this player) for a measly win. It stinks of pettyness. Maybe its my terrible english. At these moments it ceases to be a game of skill. Just who has more time.

Op is complaining about random arenas where you get 4 people with no snare (justifyable by random arena) vs one guy who is self sufficient and can run alot making it really bullshit. In most cases just leave and get another team.

That is not half as bad as an entire team who is devoted to running around the arenas. Even with crippling skills, we couldn't hurt them.

How I wish I could post their guild tag but rules are rules.

Hmm... I hope never to come across that... I'm far too stubborn and patient to leave.

If you stop moving for a bit, feign afk, maybe you could suck him into range...
